Downtown Jensen Beach
A five-block main street with Crawdaddy's, Berry Fresh Cafe, a wine bar, an ice cream shop, and a farmer's market every Sunday morning. Ten minutes from the residence.
The lagoon
The Indian River Lagoon runs the length of Jensen Beach on the west side of the barrier island. Kayak rentals, sunset paddleboarding, and some of the best inshore fishing in Florida.

- Jensen Beach Pineapple Festival — every November
- Kayak the lagoon — rentals at River Palm Cottages
- Sunset at Mulligan's — right on the beach, live music most nights
